Women’s BJJ Training
Whether is is for self-defense, fitness, or competition, Women’s Brazilian Jiu Jitsu is a growing sport and a perfect martial arts for women to train.
Women’s BJJ For Self Defense
Women’s BJJ is perfect for Self Defense for a couple of reasons. Brazilian Jiu Jitsu was created specifically for a smaller or weaker person to defend and defeat a bigger and stronger opponent. We will teach you how to use leverage and momentum to use a would be assailant against them.
The second is that in self defense situations, women may find themselves assaulted, grabbed or thrown on the ground. We teach you how to use the ground to neutralize an would be attacker’s strength. Then use a variation of sweeps, chokes an joint locks to quickly reverse the situation. Allowing you the opportunity to get away.
We will teach you and help build a strong BJJ Foundation that will help you feel confident, secure and safe.
Women’s BJJ For Fitness
Brazilian Jiu Jitsu is often seen as a bunch of people just rolling around. It is actually more than that. BJJ requires that you push and pull not just your own body weight, but that of an opponent. Don’t worry, you will normally workout with the other women in the class, so you feel more comfortable.
Now add to that, an opponent who is giving you resistance. This creates a perfect situation for you to gain strength and conditioning in your body. Because BJJ is demanding you will often find that with the proper diet, it becomes easy to lose weight.
We will help you get into the best shape of your life while training BJJ.
